Private Jacob Korman

Jacob Korman was twenty-four when he enlisted on October 4, 1864 in Company M of the Fifth Iowa Cavalry. A resident of Dubuque, he had been born in France. He served with the regiment for the remainder of its history, mustering out on August 11, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.
