Private James Hanna

James Hanna was one of the older residents of Bellevue, Iowa when he enlisted on October 28, 1861 at the age of thirty-nine. Unfortunately, the Official Roster does not provide any details about his brief service with the regiment. It simply relates the sad fact that he "died August 15, 1862, Bellevue, Iowa."
